Addition Projects

The only place to go with this nearly 600 sf addition was out the side. A very tricky tie in of old to new awaited, but came off without a hitch, as the “Boston hip” roof flowed into the addition and the home filled out the corner lot with a natural flow.

The owners of this two bedroom city ranch need to expand, and find some privacy. The solution came by enlarging a half bath to a full bath and blowing out the back with a new master suite, of course the patio area could not be ignored, so it grew bigger and better along side the new master bedroom, complete with roof and screening.

Located in an upscale neighborhood, this tired ranch showed its age, especially the worn out Kitchen and Family room. Typical with older homes the two rooms were seperated and just didn”t work well together or by themselves. A complete demolition of the two rooms, allowed for relocating partitions and using the volume of ceilings to help open the two rooms into one very functional Kitchen/Family Room. The new cherry cabinets, limestone floors and upgraded windows helped not only blend the rooms, but do so with a flare. What once was dreary and dated is now a delightful, wide open entertainers delight.
